Pastor's Corner

Welcome to The Congregational Church in Killingworth, United Church of Christ! I am pleased that you have found our web site and hope you will find it a helpful way to get to know our church.

Please join us some Sunday morning when our worship begins at 10 a.m. (9 a.m. in July and August).  There will be ushers by each door to greet you and answer any questions. You will find that you are surrounded by people just like you – people filled with hopes and fears, joys and sorrows, strengths and weaknesses. Our common thread is that we are all committed to growing in our faith and letting our faith propel our actions in this world.

If you have children, we have a very active Christian Education program. The children worship with their families each week for the first part of the service, including the opportunity to receive communion once a month. After the children’s message, they leave for hands-on experiences in our Sunday School programs. Check out our Christian Education page for all the details.

Please take some time to browse through our site and click on information about our programs. And don’t hesitate to contact me by email, phone or a visit in my office just to chat.  We are committed to the fact that wherever you are on your journey, you are welcome here.

In peace,

Rev. Martha Bays
